What are Part Time Parkview RNs?

Part Time Parkview RNs are registered nurses who work part-time schedules at Parkview Health, a healthcare system with hospitals and clinics in several locations. These nurses provide patient care, administer medications, assist with procedures, and collaborate with healthcare teams, but typically work fewer hours per week than full-time staff. Their schedules often allow for more flexibility, making this role ideal for those balancing other commitments while still contributing to patient care.

What are some common challenges faced by part-time Parkview RNs and how can they be managed?

Part-time Parkview RNs often navigate challenges such as adapting to variable schedules, staying updated with patient care changes, and maintaining strong communication within the care team. To manage these, it's important to be proactive about staying informed through shift handovers and digital charting systems. Building good relationships with full-time staff and participating in ongoing training sessions can also help ensure continuity of care and professional growth. Flexibility and strong organizational skills are key to succeeding in this dynamic environment.
