Position Status: Full-Time
Supervisor: Clinic Manager
What You'll Do:
  • Greets customers in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner. Provides any necessary instruction/directions. Informs appropriate department/person of customer's arrival.
  • Updates patient information (such as insurance cards, driver's license, authorizations, and referrals).
  • Administers tablets for completion of personal health information including privacy policies and financial policies.
  • Collects co-payments, deductibles and outstanding balances such as out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Give detailed explanation of benefits and financial agreements.
  • Answers phones in a pleasant manner and deals with customer needs expeditiously.
  • Schedules follow-up appointments, as required by physician teams.
  • Enters charges into computer system.
  • Prints charge tickets and necessary paperwork for "next day clinic".
  • Balance daily collections with time of service payment, summary report, and prepares deposit slip.
  • Daily: Carries out appropriate actions related to hold and practice buckets.
  • Accepts deliveries, logs and distributes to appropriate parties
  • Requires Regular and consistent attendance.

Requirements
What You'll Need:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least one-year work experience in a clinical setting, or equivalent experience in a customer service role.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills. Familiarity with insurance benefits is a plus. Must be computer literate, with basic knowledge of MS office products, and general office machines such as fax, copier, etc..
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced work environment, and demonstrate team cooperation.
  • Other duties to be assigned as necessary and may vary at times, as needed by your immediate supervisor or as directed by the company.
