Details Work in a PACU unit that operates 24/7 Unit handles higher acuity post-anesthesia cases across Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery specialties Overseen by a Charge Nurse and Supervisor 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week On-call coverage required for holidays Requirements Active RN license (GA or compact) required Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required NIHSS certification required Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience required Cerner EMR experience required Additional Information Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for a variety of surgical patient populations Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront prior to accepting an offer American Traveler Job ID P-748901.
