Join our team in a Critical Care Unit where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN)who excels in this role:
  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for:
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • ACLS and PALS preferred
  • One year of ICU experience required
  • ASLS certification preferred
