Description & Requirements
St. Luke's is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join us in our strategy to be the community's trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care. We are growing and opening a new procedure room and we are hiring! Come join the Nampa perioperative team working in Pre-Op, Post-Op and PACU.
What to expect:
Pre-Op has 18 bays for pre-op and phase 2 recovery. Pre-op is a medical/surgical unit specialized in preparing surgical patients for surgery. It is a fast-paced environment requiring the art of customer service, efficiency, and team work to safely prepare patients of all ages for surgery. PACU is a specialized area for patients to recover from anesthesia. The PACU is considered a critical care unit with 9 recovery bays. The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.
Schedule: 0.7 FTE (56 hours per pay period) Week 1 0530 to 1800 Thursday and Friday. Week 2 0530 to 1600 Monday and 0530 to 1800 Thursday and Friday. Position also requires taking occasional night, holiday and weekend call. Call response time is 30 minutes.
Qualifications
  • Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN)
  • Experience: 1+ years of Critical care, Pre Op or PACU experience highly preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
  • BLS required, ACLS highly preferred
