Job description

Caring Transitions of Brazos Valley is looking for new Move Team Members to assist with our senior relocation projects. We work in client's homes in the Brazos Valley and surrounding areas. Caring Transitions is the nation's largest provider of transition services helping seniors and family members navigate the difficult process of rightsizing (downsizing). We are seeking compassionate, caring and mature individuals capable of performing assigned tasks with limited supervision. These positions are part-time on an as needed basis with potential for promotion in to a team lead role after training and experience. Experience with packing and organizing is a plus. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, be on your feet for the majority of the day and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Job responsibilities are as follows:
  • Assist in small moves and clean-out processes for clients, particularly seniors transitioning to new living environments
  • Use of proper packing techniques
  • Handle and relocate sensitive and valuable items with care within homes and to new locations
  • Unpack & resettle in new home
  • Decluttering and downsizing assistance
  • Moving supplies/boxes within a client's home
  • Engage with clients and their families sensitively and professionally, ensuring a smooth and respectful transition process
