About Us:

CHAMPRO is a growing branded manufacturer & distributor of team sports equipment and apparel. We are privately owned and have been delivering high-value, traditional & innovative athletic equipment and apparel via outstanding, integrity-driven customer service for thirty-five years. We are seeking a experienced Warehouse Material Handlers to join our distribution team in Bannockburn, IL part-time from 3pm-7pm.

Position:

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of finish good products and supplies and will also provide direction on the sequence and priority of task assignments to Material Handlers and Forklift Drivers. This position reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and will take direction on task assignments from a supervisor or others as requested.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing finished good products and supplies
• Utilize radio frequency bar code scanners and other information technology to locate and systematically move products and supplies
• Collect ordered items from the inventory and packing them for shipment
• Operate material handling equipment safely
• Meet or exceed productivity standards
• Ensure all material movements are completed accurately and damage free
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
• Utilize small parcel carrier systems to prepare shipments
• Process customer product returns based on approved Return Material Authorization (RMA’s)
• Coordinate the quality and on time completion of value-added services for key account customers
• Execute finished goods replenishment orders
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ experience working in a distribution center environment
• Fluent in English language (verbal and written)
• Basic math skills
• Previous forklift experience
• General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS preferred
• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
