Part time packers are employees who work less than full-time hours and are responsible for preparing goods for shipment or storage. Their main tasks include packing products into boxes, labeling packages, checking for damaged items, and sometimes assisting with inventory. This role is common in warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities. Part time packers need to be detail-oriented and able to work efficiently, often in a fast-paced environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time packer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Packer, you need attention to detail, basic math skills, and physical stamina, often with a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, barcode scanners, and packaging equipment is typically required. Strong time management, reliability, and teamwork are valued soft skills in this role. These qualities ensure that products are accurately packed, orders are fulfilled efficiently, and overall warehouse operations run smoothly.

About Our Family
We are a small-but-mighty household built on purpose, warmth, and intention. Our home is a nurturing, welcoming space where routines matter, relationships are valued, and laughter is part of everyday life. Our days are full with early mornings, school drop-offs, business responsibilities, and cozy evenings together, and we may soon be welcoming a newborn to our family.
Alongside running a busy household, we also operate a growing clinic, which means there are many moving pieces to keep life running smoothly. We're looking for someone who can step confidently into both environments, anticipate needs, stay organized, and bring a calm, proactive presence without needing constant direction.
This role is ideal for someone who finds fulfillment in supporting others behind the scenes, takes pride in creating order, and wants to be part of a home and workplace where their contributions truly make a difference.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You bring hopeful energy into every room you walk into. You are extremely organized, confident, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy being a resource for the people around you. You are a critical thinker who comes prepared with ideas and solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do. You're tech-savvy and know how to use social media to support and promote a business. You are a natural people person - comfortable picking up the phone, interacting with clinic staff and patients' families, and representing the household and business with warmth and professionalism. You share a values-driven approach to life and work, and you understand the weight and joy of supporting a family that is doing meaningful work in the world. You are someone who notices what needs to happen before being asked - and then quietly makes it happen.

  • Follow dairy-free dietary needs and preferences
  • Assist with grocery shopping or curbside pickup coordination
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization

  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry
  • Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry areas

Vendor & Property Oversight
  • Research vendors, coordinate repair quotes, and manage scheduling
  • Be present as point of contact when contractors or vendors arrive during work hours
