Job description

Caring Transitions of North Dallas Suburbs specializes in relocation, downsizing and estate sales. We help seniors and non-seniors make smooth and stress-free transitions from one living situation to another. This position is a great opportunity for anyone looking to provide a valuable service to those in your community!
JOB DESCRIPTION (including, but not limited to)
  • Sorting, organizing and packing household goods to be moved or sold
  • Staging and preparing homes for sale
  • Researching merchandise to determine fair market value
  • Moving supplies and packed boxes within clientโ€™s home
  • Safely pack and unpack goods
  • Interacting with clients, their families, and other coworkers
  • Must be able to stand during shift, sometimes long periods of time, must be able to bend, lift up to 25lbs, hang items at or above 4 feet, and climb stairs
  • Must be able to carry supplies, items and move boxes (under 25lbs) to and from vehicles
  • We donโ€™t move furniture and items over 25lbs, that is the responsibility of the moving team

ย JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable source of transportation
  • Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time
  • Must have access to a computer / smart phone /tabletย  for scheduling, time-keeping and project management apps

  • We try to limit the scope of work to the weekdays (Monday through Friday), however, some jobs may require weekend work
  • Part-time hours, every job is different and requires a different amount of hours, we cannot guarantee set hours
