Description

Firefighting's Finest Moving and Storage is looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor to join our team. The Mover/Packer reports directly to a crew supervisor in consultation with location management. They will work efficiently and provide quality customer service in a safe manner. You will be directly responsible for packing, loading and unloading the customer's belongings as directed by your supervisor. The Mover/Packer position is essential for the services we deliver to our customers. You must be a self-motivated individual who problem solves within a team construct. There is a potential for overtime and tips. Join our team today.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow Crew Supervisor directions.
  • Packing and moving client's household goods in residential or commercial structures.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with team members and customers.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic tool operation (disassemble/assemble customer goods).
  • Protect furniture using various methods.
  • Meet continuing education requirements.
  • Operate in a safe manner at all times.
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Physical requirements: standing, bending and climbing stairs for long periods of time, and repeatedly lifting 25 to 50 pounds alone or 100 plus pounds with team members.
  • Must be reliable, collaborative and communicative with team members and clients.
  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Must own a reliable vehicle to transport you to and from work.
  • Must own a smartphone.
  • Pass a background check (no felonies or Class A misdemeanors).
  • Comply with Firefighting's Finest rules, policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit a consistent positive attitude and high morals.
