PART TIME 12-26 HOURS PER WEEK! LOOKING FOR EVENING AVAILABILITY AND WEEKENDS!
$15.00 - $18.51 PER HOUR
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to sell Harmons' fresh Bakery items by giving remarkable customer service. This person will educate customers about our Bakery products and assist them in choosing the right one for their needs. This person will package and label product, fill shelves and cases, pan product for the next day's needs, proof and bake product, and provide exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
  • Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services the Bakery provides
  • Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the Bakery
  • Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
  • Ensures the Bakery is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearance
  • Assists customers with cake and special orders
  • Washes and puts away bowls, pans, and baking trays
  • Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
  • Accurately packages and labels Bakery products
  • Fills shelves and cases with product
  • Re-stocks the Bakery department and helps sort and put away Bakery products when deliveries come in
  • Minimizes waste in the department by following production sheets, watching code dates, and appropriately rotating items
  • Assist managers, bakers, cake decorators, and artisan bakers as needed

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Mixes and scoops cookies
  • Proofs and bakes items
  • Assist customers by writing on cakes
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with customers and fellow associates
  • Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one's own success as well as the success of your team
