Job Title: Receiving Associate (Part-Time)

Job Description

The Part-Time Receiving Associate supports the laboratory receiving department by accurately processing incoming materials, organizing inventory, and ensuring timely distribution of supplies throughout the facility. This role maintains a clean and safe receiving area while following established laboratory safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify items against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Inspect packages for discrepancies or damage and promptly report any issues.
  • Place received materials into designated storage locations in an organized manner.
  • Deliver packages and supplies to departments within the laboratory in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area at all times.
  • Follow all laboratory safety procedures and company policies while handling materials and equipment.
  • Assist with additional receiving and inventory-related tasks as needed, including general warehouse support.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience operating an electric pallet jack.
  • Strong attention to detail for verifying shipments and identifying discrepancies.
  • Solid organizational skills for managing inventory and storage locations.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
