The main difference between a Part Time Overnight Cna and a Full Time Overnight Cna lies in their weekly hours. Part Time CNAs work fewer hours, often supplementing other jobs or education, while Full Time CNAs provide more consistent coverage. Both roles require the same certifications and typically work in similar environments within healthcare facilities.

Do overnight part time overnight CNAs get paid more?

Part-time overnight CNAs often earn higher hourly wages compared to daytime shifts due to the less desirable overnight schedule and the need for additional compensation for working outside regular hours. Overtime pay may also apply if they work beyond standard hours, increasing overall earnings. However, pay rates vary by employer, location, and experience level.

What is the easiest shift to work as a part time overnight CNA?

The easiest shift for a part-time overnight CNA typically depends on individual preferences and facility needs, but many find the early overnight shift (such as 11 pm to 7 am) less physically demanding and quieter. Consistent schedules and familiarity with the environment can also make overnight shifts more manageable for some workers.
