Job Type: Part Time


Position Overview:ย 

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Ambulatory Clinic team at University of Marlyand Medical Center Downtown Campus. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients ages 0 through 21 years of age, undergoing treatment for hematologic and oncologic conditions in an outpatient setting. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:ย

  • eliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses in an ambulatory clinic setting.ย 

  • A
  • dminister chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and other prescribed treatments safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols.ย 

  • M
  • onitor patient responses to treatment, assess for side effects or complications, and intervene appropriately.ย 

  • E
  • ducate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment plans, medication administration, and symptom management.ย

  • ollaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.ย

    Qualifications:ย
