Summary:
Jorgensen Farms is made up of multiple divisions, creating a unique agritourism environment that blends organic farming with special events.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic tasks such as painting, furniture assembly, repairing building fixtures, and general carpentry.
  • Perform repairs on company equipment.
  • Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
  • Coordinate with the Facilities Manager to ensure employee maintenance/project work requests are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist Facilities Manager with service calls relating to venue maintenance and upkeep.
  • Itemizing receipts for each job in an organized and timely manner.
  • Using maintenance expertise to exercise discernment in reviewing issues and offer recommendations for corrections or improvements.
  • Effectively communicate across all departments to ensure productivity and notification of the completion of projects
  • Undertake duties as assigned
  • Whatever it takes to create a comfortable, welcoming, and supportive environment for all staff and guests

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
  • Extremely organized with good communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues appropriately.
  • Adept at using hand tools and power tools.
  • Must be able to list up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be physically able to stand or walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role
