Job description

SQL / Crystal Reports Analyst

Chicago Area | part time as needed

100% remote

no C2C or 3rd parties

No Visa Sponsorship Available

We are seeking a hands-on SQL / Crystal Reports Analyst to support reporting, database operations, Windows systems, and general IT infrastructure within a growing enterprise environment.

This position is ideal for a well-rounded technical professional who can work across reporting development, SQL database support, troubleshooting, and infrastructure-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain Crystal Reports for operational and business reporting needs
• Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes
• Support SQL Server databases including troubleshooting performance and connectivity issues
• Assist with Windows desktop and server administration tasks
• Support networking and infrastructure troubleshooting including connectivity and user support
• Work closely with internal users to gather reporting requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Troubleshoot application, reporting, and systems-related issues across the environment
• Maintain documentation and support processes for reporting and IT systems

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with SQL Server and SQL query development
• Hands-on Crystal Reports experience
• Experience supporting Windows environments
• Basic to intermediate networking knowledge including TCP/IP, connectivity, and infrastructure troubleshooting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server administration
• Exposure to Active Directory and user management
