Job description

Saturday & Sunday
5AM - 3:30PM
Part time
Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a Turret machine while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled
  • Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader
  • Pull all orders in a timely manner
  • Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
  • Report broken pallets to supervisor
  • Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
  • Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
  • Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
  • 2 years of forklift experience required
  • Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs,; weight may be more dependent upon facility
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
  • Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
