Fall - Spring Part-Time Operations Intern

Location: Melbourne, Florida

Date: August 2026

About the Opportunity

To conform to U.S. export control regulations, requirements of this position include being eligible to work with export-controlled products and related data without restriction.

Are you passionate about driving efficiency, optimizing performance, and making a measurable impact in a dynamic business environment? We're looking for a summer Operations Intern who is ready to take ownership, think strategically, and help shape the future of our operations.

  • Demonstrate a balance of intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring the unknown.

Duration: Expected to begin sometime in August, averaging ~8 hours per week, with some flexibility based on business conditions and management approval.

Expectation: It's expected that the project(s) this intern works on will culminate in an end of assignment formal presentation to the senior leadership team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working in the Operations Department, assigned to the Plant Manager or their designate for day-to-day direction and project assignment, check in and successful completion

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, prefer Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and a current junior or senior status, must possess excellent MS Office skills
