Job description

We are seeking a Part-Time Cook to prepare weekly luncheon service and support occasional catered events.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable culinary professional who enjoys working in a warm, mission-driven environment. This position is ideal for someone who values quality, consistency, and the unique atmosphere of a heritage property.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and execute a once-a-week lunch service for members and guests

· Plan menus that balance tradition, seasonality, and cost-effectiveness

· Must share recipes for consistency in the dishes

· Support special events and small-scale catering as needed

· Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen

· Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth service

Qualifications

· Professional cooking experience required

· Must have a minimum of Level 1 Servesafe

· Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Appreciation for historic settings and community-focused work

Schedule & Compensation

· Part-time, primarily one set day per week with additional hours for catered events
