Job description

Primary responsibility is to deliver world-class customer service to customers. This requires strong interpersonal skills, effective oral/written communication skills and the ability to work well with others. Computer application knowledge, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel, and Adobe Suites) is preferred, as well as knowledge of internet applications. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for several hours at a time and ability to lift 50-75+ lbs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

As a Team Member of The UPS Store you will have the following duties:

  • Must be on time
  • Must have a reliable way to get to work
  • Must provide excellent, prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service at all times
  • Must be able to learn quickly and work in a very busy environment
  • Must be able to work as a team member
  • Assist customers to determine the best way to ship their packages
  • Assist customers with document services
  • Pack merchandise for shipment and process the shipment
  • Ring sales in a computerized register
  • Must be able to pass a background check to become a Notary
  • Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in the store and other tasks that are included on job assignments
  • The position requires standing, bending and reaching. Frequent lifting of 1 to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds
  • You must show the ability to think outside of the box and recognize other tasks that need to be done
