We are currently seeking for a compassionate, highly-skilled, and reliable personal care assistant (PCA) to serve as part of our growing home health care team.
In this role, you will work with our clients in their homes, helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed, according to their requirements and limitations. You will provide compassionate care and assistance and document clients' progress to help ensure their overall wellbeing.

Shift: Saturday, 10AM to 2PM (Start ASAP)
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current CPR/BLS certification
At least 1 year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting (3-5 years preferred)

CLIENT CARE NEEDS:
1️⃣Primary Clinical Focus

Feeding & Aspiration Risk Management (High Priority)
✔️Monitor closely during all meals due to tendency to overstuff food
✔️Regulate bite size and pacing to reduce choking risk
✔️Ensure safe swallowing and intervene as needed
✔️Provide ongoing assessment of feeding safety
Patient Safety & Supervision
✔️Maintain continuous supervision due to safety risks
✔️Monitor during mobility (walking, running, stairs, uneven surfaces)
✔️Ensure safe environment at all times
Clinical Observation & Assessment
✔️Observe for any changes in condition and report/escalate as needed
✔️Be mindful of medical history (multiple surgeries; potential future procedures)
✔️Provide sound clinical judgment in day-to-day care
2️⃣Functional Support (Secondary to Clinical Oversight)
✔️Assist with activities of daily living as needed (toileting support, including clothing assistance)
✔️Support safe participation in daily routines and activities
✔️Encourage appropriate use of communication tools (AAC device) to support patient interaction
✔️Engagement & Development (Supportive Role)
✔️Provide appropriate engagement to support the patient's overall well-being
✔️Participate in structured activities (e.g., simple play, outdoor time) while maintaining safety oversight
✔️Reinforce therapy-informed activities (PT/OT exercises) as tolerated
