As a RN with Brightstar Care of Plano/North Dallas you will:
  • Responsible for providing home health clinical services
  • Responsible for quality; adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff.
  • Perform care as defined by client's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice act
  • Monitor patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
  • Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
  • Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs
  • Must be willing to do both visits and shifts as assigned
As a RN/LVN you will need:
  • Current and unrestricted RN/LVN license in the state of Texas
  • 2- 5 years of infusion experience preferred
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US
  • Reliable car and auto insurance
  • Pass state and federal criminal record check(s)
  • Current CPR/BLS
  • Recent (within the last year) TB/Chest X-ray on record
  • wound care experience
  • Lab draws and PICC care experience
  • Port experience is a plus
  • Willing to see patients in all locations as assigned
