About the RN Position
Do you enjoy making a difference in the lives of others? Are you an experienced hospice Registered Nurse? Are you looking for a rewarding work setting with one-on-one patient care?
The Registered Nurse RN plans, organizes and directs hospice care and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education/experience. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities.
Registered Nurse Skills / Requirements
  • Is currently licensed as an RN through state Board of Nursing.
  • Preferred one year of clinical experience in hospice, home health, medical, surgical, or critical care.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and maintains good physical stamina and mental health.
  • Can pass pre-employment background and health screening.
  • Is a licensed driver with insured automobile that is in good working order.
  • Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Shows excellent observation, good clinical judgement, and good oral and written communication.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and cooperation in fulfilling role obligation.
RN Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides skilled assessment, teachings, interventions, and treatments.
  • Sets up the individualized plan of care for the patients and supervises other clinicians providing care.
  • Coordinates care with patient, caregivers, other clinicians, and physician.
  • Participates in company related meetings and in-services.
