We offer a starting pay range of $38.75/hr-$40.85/hr  based on years of experience AND holiday pay!


We are hiring for our state of the art Healthcare Center, Gadsden Glen, at Bishop Gadsden located conveniently on James Island, SC! As a RN-Staff Nurse you will provide quality nursing care to residents through professional and pleasant interactions in an inviting, flexible and fun work environment! The successful candidate will have compassion for and the desire to work with seniors.


A Typical Day:

  • Carefully assess and evaluate the well-being of residents and take accurate action
  • Responsible for total nursing care of residents
  • Visit each resident throughout the shift, make staff assignments and instruct staff of needs to provide optimum care
  • Enter pertinent information into resident records and follow up with other staff to ensure accuracy of care
  • Administer medications according to established procedures and in a timely manner
  • Order new medications and refills
  • Encourage resident participation in unit life and activities
  • Encourage staff interaction with residents during waking hours
  • Keep Charge Nurse/Nurse Supervisor updated regarding performance of personnel
  • Provide direction and supervision for unit staff as necessary
  • Assist in unit orientation and guidance of all new employees
  • Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely, and professional manner

Requirements

What We Need In A Candidate:

  • Must be licensed by the state of South Carolina and in good standing with a current active license
  • Must be able to administer IV medication as instructed by physician
  • Is or willing to become CPR Certified
  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism and clinical skills
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above head, carry, and lift (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
