About the Role

Join our team as a Catering Assistant and play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and support services within a dynamic health unit. This hands-on position offers variety, with responsibilities across kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients. If you're reliable, efficient, and enjoy making a positive difference in people's daily lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a supportive and essential service.

What We're Looking For

Essential Criteria 

  •  Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills across diverse environments
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines while working under general direction
  • Basic experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry services
  • Understanding of food safety, infection control, and safe work practices
  • Sound literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)

Desired Criteria 

  • Year 11 completion and/or current First Aid certificate
  • Experience in housekeeping, catering, laundry, and basic computer use
  • Manual handling skills and awareness of Equal Employment Opportunity principles
