How the JumpStart Program Works
Apply to an open RN position in the specialty or unit that interests you.
Interview with nursing leadership.
Receive a job offer and sign a JumpStart agreement.
Your position will be reserved for you until after graduation.
Eligibility
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program
  • Expected graduation within approximately 9 months
  • Eligible to work as a Registered Nurse upon successful completion of the program and licensure requirement

Financial Support
Participants receive monthly payments beginning with their JumpStart agreement and continuing through one month after graduation, for a maximum of 9 months.
This support is designed to help nursing students focus on their education while preparing for a successful transition into professional practice.
After Graduation
Upon graduation, participants will:
  • Submit NCLEX and Iowa Board of Nursing fee receipts for reimbursement
  • Complete the NCLEX-RN examination and obtain RN licensure
  • Transition into their full-time Registered Nurse position
  • Begin their nursing career with a team committed to professional growth and development
