Job description

Music On Wheels Academy's nonprofit organization, The Miracle Foundation Of Arts & Academics is seeking a teacher to help teach up to 10 students from ages 7 - 17, 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs), from 9:30am to 4:30pm, in-person.

This position does not require certification, however it does require a minimum of 4 years of experience working with youth and understanding general education.

Candidate must love children, be organized, and well equipped to handle children of diverse backgrounds and learning differences, and can multi-task. Candidate must be academically capable of teaching general math and reading, and language to children with learning deficiencies.

This job also entails filing, grading, and other administrative duties that are consistent with teaching and managing children.

Music On Wheels, LLC has a non-profit organization called the Miracle Foundation of Arts and Academics with a mission of providing mentoring and counseling workshops, a K-12 academic education for at-risk students, music and arts instruction, as well as scholarships to empower children to reach their fullest potential; we prepare youth to be leaders of tomorrow through a unique, holistic, and personalized approach to each child based on their cognitive, behavioral, medical, and/or emotional abilities. Parents are also given tools for effective guidance and support in parenting.
