Join Our Team as a Part-Time Porter (Custodial Services)
Location: 16251 Construction Circle W, Irvine, CA 92606
Pay Range: Starting at $18 per hour
Hours: Vary depending on route assignment
Job Summary of a Porter:
Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a dependable Porter (Custodial Services) to provide general labor support, including litter removal, property maintenance, and routine cleaning. This role involves traveling to multiple locations on a scheduled route while working outdoors in all weather conditions. It's a hands-on, active position where you'll take pride in keeping sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas clean, safe, and welcoming for the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities as Porter:
  • Drive a company-provided pickup truck to multiple stops along a scheduled route.
  • Perform litter removal in and around commercial properties.
  • Maintain and clean retail properties, including sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas.
  • Use a leaf blower to clear sidewalks and other outdoor areas.
  • Replace trash bags and inspect properties for maintenance issues.
  • Complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use equipment properly.
  • Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.

Job Requirements of a Porter:
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Must pass and maintain drug-free status (pre-employment and random testing).
  • Ability to safely operate a pickup truck and perform physical labor.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
