Description:Direct Support Professional - ENRC/MRC Starting Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour for full time and part time; $17.00 per hour for back up Schedule of Hours: - Available Positions: Full Time and Part Time 6:00 am-6:00 pm and 6:00 pm-6:00 am The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for a variety of duties related to the provision of overall support and care for individuals receiving services from Skill Creations, Inc. Those that Skill Creations Inc. serves in this capacity are individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and secondary mental health/substance abuse issues

The DSP works in the Emergent Need Respite Center Facility and/or in the community as scheduled, providing one-to-one or group care according to the specific needs of the individuals and their plan(s) of care. The Direct Support Professional may assist with personal care, behavioral support, medication administration, job coaching and assistance and/or independent living skills. The Direct Support Professional also provides educational opportunities in the areas of communication and recreation/leisure.**Full-Time staff members (30+ scheduled hours per week) are offered a competitive benefits package that includes Health, Dental and Life Insurance, holiday pay, paid time off and 401K.***Please note: While resumes are accepted, the online application must be completed before a candidate will be considered for any open positions

Persons must have the ability to lift 50 pounds and the work occasionally requires balancing, bending, stooping and kneeling. The position requires the employee to be on his or her feet most of the time. Ability to meet the individual client specific needs .
