We're seeking a fulltime skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist who is passionate about women's health and dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive imaging experience.
Pay Range: $31.45-$47.17 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Requirements
As a Mammographer, you'll serve as a key point of contact for patients while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a safe and compliant environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a variety of mammography procedures with precision and care
- Ensuring patient safety by minimizing exposure to radiation and other risks
- Assessing patient needs, comfort level, and ability to tolerate procedures
- Reviewing physician orders and patient history to determine appropriate imaging protocols
- Operating and maintaining mammography and related equipment safely and effectively
- Conducting and documenting routine quality control (QC) testing
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policies
- Providing compassionate, respectful care to patients and their families
- Communicating clearly with physicians, radiologists, and care teams
- Supporting a collaborative environment across departments
- Participating in performance improvement and quality initiatives
MQSA & Compliance Responsibilities
- Assist with MQSA inspections and accreditation preparation
- Maintain documentation for equipment, QC, and personnel records
- Ensure compliance with all MQSA regulations and standards
- Support audit readiness and proper record retention
- Collaborate with physicists, radiologists, and compliance teams
- Stay current with regulatory updates and industry best practices
Minimum Required Education/Experience: Current certification/registration in Mammography by the ARRT is required. A minimum of two years work experience in mammography is preferred. Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: • Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to explain technical terms in a clear and understandable way for a variety of audiences. • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees and administration. Note: An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted. Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to complete tuberculosis review/assessment. Licenses or Certificates: Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification. Unusual Demands: Work is subject to recurring and inflexible deadlines and frequent interruptions.
