Caregiver (HCA/CNA) - Kenmore, WA
Part-Time | Morning Shifts ** SUN, TUE, THURS, & FRI 8AM-12PM **
Home Instead Seattle is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home care for a client located in Kenmore, WA.
Client Care Needs
The ideal caregiver will be comfortable providing hands-on personal care and mobility assistance while promoting the client's safety, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities include:
  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance
  • Safe transfers and mobility assistance using gait belts and a Hoyer lift
  • Ambulation and transfers, including assisting the client with walking and getting in and out of bed or chairs
  • Light housekeeping
  • Pet care assistance
  • Monitoring and promoting client safety, comfort, and well-being
  • Communicating effectively and compassionately with the client, family members, and the Home Instead care team

Qualifications
To be considered, applicants must have:
  • An active HCA or CNA certification (REQUIRED)
  • Experience using a Hoyer lift is required
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance (preferred, but not required)
  • Comfortable working in a home with cats
  • Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor
