Trabajando como Manejo de Producto, ayudará a facilitar el movimiento de productos a través del centro de distribución. Consolidará productos, reabastecerá ubicaciones y moverá el inventario, con montacargas dentro del centro de distribución. RESPONSABILIDADES: Los deberes y responsabilidades de este puesto incluyen, entre otros: o Operar programas de computadora, escáneres de RF e impresoras para etiquetar productos o Producto consolidado o Reabastecimiento de ubicaciones de productos o Mover inventario por todo el centro de distribución o Mantener la limpieza y organización del área de trabajo. o Cumplir con las normas y expectativas de salud, seguridad y sostenibilidad o Participar en actividades y programas que ayuden a la empresa a alcanzar los objetivos de salud, seguridad y sostenibilidad o Aprender, aprobar y practicar diversas capacitaciones sobre seguridad y salud ambiental CALIFICACIONES REQUERIDAS PARA EL PUESTO: Para este puesto se requieren las siguientes habilidades y calificaciones: o Habilidades competentes de comunicación oral y escrita o Habilidades informáticas competentes o Altamente motivado, autodirigido y orientado al servicio al cliente o Demostrar una fuerte aptitud matemática, atención al detalle y sentido de urgencia o Aprenda y realice múltiples tareas en un entorno de ritmo rápido o Trabajar de forma independiente y en un ambiente de equipo o Disposición a trabajar en un horario flexible/tiempo extra según sea necesario o Demostrar nuestros valores fundamentales de ambición, innovación, integridad y trabajo en equipo o Levantar, deslizar, transportar y bajar paquetes que normalmente pesan entre 25 y 50 libras y pueden pesar hasta 100 libras. Up to 25 hours/week OVERVIEW: Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-Time Product Handling, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout the distribution center to company owned branches. You will consolidate product, restock locations and move inventory by hand, pallet jack, or forklift. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product o Consolidating product o Restocking product locations o Moving inventory throughout the distribution center o Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area o Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations o Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives o Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Proficient written and oral communication skills o Proficient computer skills o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Prior experience operating a forklift ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
