Job description

Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Specialized Vascular Care | Mobile Practice

Job Type: Per Diem or Part-Time

Position Overview

A specialized vascular care group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in a procedural-only role within a mobile care model.

This position is focused exclusively on the treatment of Superficial Venous Insufficiency (SVI)โ€”a condition in which diseased veins are treated to reduce symptoms such as swelling, discomfort, and varicose veins.

Providers in this role will perform minimally invasive procedures only, with no consultative or diagnostic responsibilities.

Care is delivered directly to patients in a mobile setting, providing convenient access to advanced vascular treatments.

Scope of Work

The NP/PA will perform on-site SVI procedures using minimally invasive techniques, including:

  • Sclerotherapy (liquid and foam)

  • VenaSealโ„ข๏ธ adhesive closure procedures

This is a mobile, procedure-focused role operating under clinical leadership.

Schedule

  • Per diem or part-time

  • Flexible scheduling based on provider availability and procedural demand

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform SVI-focused procedures (no initial consults or diagnostic evaluations)

  • Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality procedural care in a mobile setting

  • Monitor patients during and immediately after procedures

  • Document all procedures accurately and in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless care delivery

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

  • Active NP or PA license (state-specific)

  • BLS certification (required)

  • ACLS certification (preferred)

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible

  • Current Infection Control Certification

  • Up-to-date health documentation (PPD/TB, Hep B, MMR, Varicella)

  • Reliable transportation (required for mobile role)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with vascular or vein procedures (SVI experience strongly preferred)

  • Ability to work independently in a mobile, procedural-focused environment

Compensation

  • Competitive per diem / per-procedure compensation based on experience

  • Mileage reimbursement
