St. Agnes Home, a beautiful senior living community sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus, is seeking a caring and dependable Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our night shift team.

Conveniently located in the heart of Kirkwood at the corner of Woodlawn and Manchester Road, St. Agnes Home offers a warm, family-centered environment where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and love—and where our employees are valued as part of our mission.

 Night Shift Schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
 Work only 3 twelve-hour shifts per week

Certified Medical Technician- Full time (40 hours) receive $1,500 sign on Bonus, for three-quarter time $1125 sign on bonus, for part-time $750 sign-on bonus

The CMT provides medication administration to residents under the direction of the nursing staff.  Provides supportive and functional care to residents with routine daily care in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.  The CMT acts with integrity and in the best interest of St. Agnes Home and identifies instances of non-compliance and takes appropriate action.  The CMT strives to incorporate the philosophy and mission of St. Agnes Home and to incorporate the goal of quality care in a personal manner with total regard for the individual human dignity.

We require: 

  • High School Diploma or GED, with 12th grade reading, comprehension, and math skills

  • Certified as a Nurse Assistant, in good standing, in this State

  • Certified as a Medication Technician, in good standing, in this State

  • Experience as a CMT/CNA in long-term care preferred

  • Basic computer skills

  • Maintains an open communication with the Charge Nurse with regard to all needs and problems of the CMT/CNA's assigned work area

  • Demonstrates team effort in cooperating with other Departments and all co-workers

  • Records weights and vital signs properly

  • Charts all pertinent information on residents as delegated by the Charge Nurse

  • Charts all monthly summaries as delegated by the Charge Nurse

  • Receives / gives report of pertinent resident information from off-going / on-coming personnel

You must also:

  • Must successfully pass the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) criminal background check.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

  • Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the US. 

  • Must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record (if required to drive).
