 Reputable Community Healthcare Clinic is hiring a full and/or part time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner!

What you will do at AMC:


Provide care to children from birth through young adult with an in-depth knowledge and experience in pediatric primary health care including well child care and prevention/management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions. 

Meets the specialized healthcare needs of individuals from birth through young adulthood, including physical, psychological, and social concerns of children in the areas of health maintenance and promotion, and assessment and management of disease processes.

Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suture removal and would care, and managing infection.

Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.

Assists in medical chart review for patient follow-up and quality assurance.

Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.

Maintains adequate medical records on all patients, including follow-up referrals, and meet on a regular basis with the physician to go over charting and/or medical care provided.

Adheres to health center standards for productivity as defined by the Chief Medical Officer and senior management.

Participates in quality improvement initiatives. 

Requirements

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Alliance Medical Center has the following qualifications and skills:


- Completion of an accredited PNP specialty program 

- 3+ years of PNP Clinical Experience

- Bilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred but not required

- EMR experience and will train, EPIC experience a plus! 

- Current California RN and Nurse Practitioner license including DEA license and current CPR 

- National Certification as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

- A passion for community-based healthcare!
