Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor (Evening)

Position Overview:
We are seeking talented, enthusiastic, and experienced part-time (adjunct) Medical Assistant Instructors to teach in a blended learning environment.
This format combines in-person instruction such as lectures, labs, and group work with online tools including discussion boards and learning management systems. It provides flexibility while maintaining strong face-to-face engagement.

This position reports to the Program Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in student retention efforts and support at-risk students.
  • Deliver lecture, laboratory, and clinical instruction according to curriculum.
  • Follow course outlines, objectives, and evaluation methods.
  • Maintain daily lesson plans.
  • Monitor and document student attendance and retention.
  • Grade assignments and submit final grades in a timely manner.
  • Provide academic support during office hours or by appointment.
  • Substitute for classes when needed.
  • Advise students on academic performance and school policies.
  • Communicate regularly with the Program Manager.
  • Maintain classroom supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Participate in faculty development activities.
  • Attend required meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current Medical Assistant certification (CCMA required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in a blended teaching environment preferred but not required.

Compensation:
  • Pay per course: $1,250.
  • Paid over a 5-week class period.
