We understand that wellness encompasses much more than just weight loss, and we are constantly working to ensure that all aspects of our patients’ health improves while on our program.

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our growing Medi-Weightloss® Noblesville/Fishers team of medical professionals in an upscale medical office concentrating on preventative medicine, nutritional guidance, and obesity medicine. Working in partnership with our medical staff, our Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting the clinical duties of the practice.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides a comfortable, supportive, and fun environment for our patients
  • Assists the nurse practitioner with patient vitals and data collection
  • Draws blood for lab work and prepares lab order forms
  • Administers intramuscular and interstitial injections
  • Conducts EKGs
  • Assists with the daily monitoring of inventory levels of clinical and office supplies
  • Captures before and after photos
  • Assists with checking-in and checking-out patients
  • Helps to maintain the cleanliness of the office
  • Encourages patients in nutrition and a healthy lifestyle
  • Other duties as assigned

Successful Candidates Must Have:

  • Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Experience with intramuscular injections
  • Background and experience with blood draws/venipuncture
  • Ability and interest in working a part-time schedule including some evenings
  • At least one year of experience with EKGs and phlebotomy required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Dedication to punctuality
  • Ability to work a half day at least one or two Saturdays a month (the clinic is open Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday & Monday)
