General Summary Description of Job:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to remanufacture electro-mechanical industrial vacuum pump systems in a production environment. The role involves using various tools to disassemble, clean, quote, assemble, and test vacuum pump systems.


Who you are:

Education:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Prefer 2-5 years of experience in a mechanical-type role


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge Needed:

  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical field.
  • Must pass a mechanical aptitude assessment

Skills and Abilities:

  • Read and follow instructions and pre-established guidelines
  • Decent written and verbal communication
  • Basic computer usage
  • Basic math skills


Work Environment:

  • Work is generally confined to a workshop/production environment
  • Full-time M-F; 8-4:30pm
  • Requires steel-toed shoes / safety glasses


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day
  • Must be able to bend, twist, squat, turn, grasp hand or power tools, lift and push heavy objects. Frequently lifts, carries, pulls or pushes up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator (Pass a respirator fit and lung capacity test (excessive facial hair can cause an issue)).
  • Must be safety conscious and aware of surroundings at all times.
  • Verbal, auditory, visual, hand/eye capacity.
  • Constant use of hand/eye coordination enabling the use of tools and equipment.
  • Visual capacity enabling constant use of computer or other work related equipment.


Additional Information:

  • We require successful completion of drug screening and criminal background.
  • We require satisfactory completion of a written and hands-on mechanical assessment.

Monday - Friday, Part Time (20-30 hours). Hours of operation: 7:30-5:00
