$21.00 - $31.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Description:
Tutor Doctor is seeking a passionate and experienced Math Tutor with a background in Special Education to provide one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs. If you enjoy creating individualized learning plans and making a real impact in a student's life, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized instruction in Math tailored to each student's learning style and needs
  • Support students with learning challenges, IEPs, or other special education needs
  • Create engaging, multi-sensory lesson plans and adapt strategies as needed
  • Track and communicate student progress with families and our internal team
  • Collaborate with parents and/or school professionals as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Education, Math, or related field)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience tutoring or teaching, especially in Special Education or Math
  • Knowledge of special education principles, IEP/504 accommodations, and teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and families
