Summer Math Enrichment Instructors (Temp PT)
Position Title: Summer Math Enrichment Instructors (Temp PT)
Employment Type: Temporary Part-Time

Department:
Community Education
Remote Work Option: Fully In-Person (May be subject to change)
Work Hours: This position will be located at either our North or South Campus, depending on the class. Hours are Monday thru Thursday, 8:00AM-1:00PM during June and July.
Salary Grade: N/A

Qualifications:
  • Background in mathematics (degree or relevant experience) required; teaching certification not required.
  • Must demonstrate strong subject matter competency in middle school concepts.
  • Previous experience working with middle school-aged children strongly preferred.

Duties:
CCAC is accepting applications for instructors for the Summer Math Enrichment program to teach middle school students. Classes are held Monday - Thursday mornings in June and July.
Course content, curriculum, and instructor textbook will be provided.
Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check. The College has provided instructions on how to obtain these clearances, which are available here.
