Job description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Unit
PRN -
As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement and document their nursing care.
Job Responsibilities:
  • perform various patient tests
  • administer medications
  • establish patient care goals
  • educate patients and their families on various conditions, self-care skills and medications
  • assist physician during examinations
  • various other day-to-day tasks

Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • PALS preferred
  • EKG experience preferred
  • Experience in suicide prevention required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women's and Children's Hospital.
