Job description

OVERVIEW

Job Title:Marketing Assistant

Pay:$16.50 per hour

Location:St. Paul

Job Summary: The Marketing Assistant will create and regularly post social media content promoting English programs, events, students, and faculty. The assistant will also support events and other work as assigned by the department coordinator. The workload is 4-5 hours per week.

A portfolio or examples of previous social media postings will be requested for candidates selected for interviews.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • English major/minor preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents and webpages
  • Working knowledge of primary social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
  • Team player
