Job description

Job Title: Senior Management Consultant – Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)

Location:  Remote

Clearance: Must be able to obtain a USDA public trust clearance.

Citizenship: US Citizenship Required

Exemption Status: Hourly Exempt

Temporary/Part-Time

Salary: U.S. market data minimum $100.00 per hour up to a maximum of 10 hours a week. The salary range may vary based on experience, skillset, and geographical location.


AttainX, Inc. is in search of a highly energetic Senior Management Consultant to USDA APHIS proposal activities with strong program management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in agriculture or related degrees relevant to APHIS mission.
  • 20+ years’ experience in government program delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting USDA agencies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making skills and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Job Duties:

  • Work as part of the business operations team to ensure compliance with proposal requirements. 
  • Review/prepare transition plans for submission to the government.
  • Review/prepare staffing plans for submission to the government.
  • Provide consulting and leadership support to AttainX for strategic planning, organization design, and process improvement. 
  • Deliver a Weekly Status Report that highlights work performed, risks and issues.
