Job description

Part-Time Maintenance Technician — Car Wash | $25 - $30/hr | Montgomery, AL

$25 - $30/hour. Evening hours. 10–20 hours a week.

Express Wash On Vaughn is looking for an experienced maintenance tech to keep our tunnel in great shape. This is evening work after we close, so it fits well around a day job.

The work

You'll own preventive maintenance and repairs on our Sonny's tunnel — conveyor, pumps, blowers, arches, dryers, and vacuums — plus compressors, air lines, and the water and reclaim systems. You'll keep chemical lines and nozzles dosing correctly, log what you do, and flag parts before something breaks. Equipment room stays clean and organized.

The schedule

Monday–Friday evenings. We close at 7:00 PM, so shifts run about 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. 10–20 hours a week depending on the maintenance calendar.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in maintenance, industrial, mechanical, or automotive repair
  • Comfortable with motor controls and basic electrical, plumbing, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Car wash experience is a plus — we'll train you on our equipment
  • Able to be on your feet, kneel, and lift throughout a shift
  • Valid driver's license
