SummaryPerforms daily maintenance tasks that assists the Parks Department personnel with the maintenance and repairs of the park athletic fields and facilities.$12.00 per hour (20 hours or less per week) *Part-time is defined as 20 hours per week or less, and less than 1000 hours annually; work hours include rotating scheduleEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintains and prepares parks and athletic fields for public use;Operates lawn equipment;Repairs and replaces vital facility sports equipment, including nets, batting cages, and wind screens;Assists other city departments as needed; andMaintains and cleans park grounds on a weekend basis such as cleaning public restrooms and removing litter.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis is a non-supervisory position.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
