Schedule: Part Time with weekend availability

Salary: $16.50-$17.50 per hour – based on experience

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with Maintenance Director to help evaluate and find solutions to routine maintenance needs

  • Care for the routine maintenance needs of the Community and its residents as if they were your own home and family

  • Assist Maintenance Director with fire and life safety training and drills as needed

  • Respond to resident/director/staff requests for maintenance through maintenance reports and log

  • Assist with all minor repairs including basic carpentry, painting, electricity, plumbing, locksmith, and preventative maintenance

Maintenance Assistant Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent diploma (GED) preferred

  • 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician

  • Able to frequently use general maintenance tools, supplies and equipment such as, but not limited to, hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, pool chemicals, ice removal equipment, ladders, landscaping equipment, sanders, and safety equipment required
