The Position

The Administrative Assistant will provide a supportive role in the office and handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The position involves working with physical and digital incoming mail, including legal documents and therefore requires high attention to detail. The Administrative Assistant will work alongside the Office Manager and other Administrative team members with several day-to-day duties and projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication, strong organization and computer skills. This employee will intake, scan and review high volumes of incoming mail. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and effectively exercise discretion and good judgment

Responsibilities

  • Accept all incoming packages and mail; physically scan and sort high-volume incoming mail
  • Assist with digital mail sorting and electronic distribution of documents.
  • Assist with other office related administrative tasks as time permits
  • Provide support for all miscellaneous requests with a 'can do' attitude

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Computer savvy a must: MSWord, Outlook (email and calendar), multifunction printers, and Excel would be a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task; Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, in team setting and get along well with others
