MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional E-Commerce Jewelry Listing to join our E Commerce - Blue Springs team! Qualifications
No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED Preferred. The ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with co-workers, customers, and management. Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population-necessary math, computer, and website navigation skills. Complex reasoning and decision-making skills are required. The ability to type 40 + WPM is strongly preferred.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
  • Accurately scan merchandise to track the chain of custody.
  • List products for online sale and produce select photos of jewelry for the listing.
  • Evaluate and authenticate possible precious metals and gems for listing, including vintage, antique, and high-end desirable fashion jewelry listing. (Research and review new and vintage jewelry styles)
  • Write product listings with accurate detail and trend-relevant descriptions and titles.
  • Shelve listed merchandise in the designated location.
  • Accurately pull jewelry orders from shelves for shipping.
  • Identify bestselling techniques for all jewelry types.
  • Prepare the production station before and clean the station after every shift.
  • Establishes and maintains positive and professional relationships with team members and leadership and works cross-functionally with other teams to increase communication.
  • Utilizes safe work practices through awareness and observation and contributes to ensuring the workplace is hazard-free by removing obstructions and keeping aisles and designated walkways debris-free.
  • Maintain a professional appearance always, adhering to MERS/Goodwill's dress code.
  • Safeguards agency assets, including cash, donated items, and purchased items, from harm, damage, or theft. Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of agency assets.
  • Must adhere to all MERS/Goodwill policies, Goodwill Retail procedures, and safety and security regulations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
