AIMS Companies - Mining Division | Phoenix, AZ and Surrounding Areas
AIMS Companies is seeking motivated, dependable, and safety-focused CDL Operators to join our Mining Division in Arizona. This is a full-time position supporting mining operations throughout Phoenix and the surrounding areas.
As a CDL Operator you will be responsible for operating and properly maintaining vacuum and hydro excavation trucks throughout the course of the job.

Essential Job Duties
  • Operating hydro excavation trucks to perform potholing, trenching, tunneling, locating utility lines, subsurface utility engineering and cleaning tasks
  • Manage water pressure of 3000psi
  • Completing paperwork, forms, enter service tickets and records as needed
  • Follow all company and MSHA mandated safety policies and procedures
  • Follow local and federal DOT Regulations while assisting in the operation of machinery and vehicles
  • Good communication with other employees and customers.
  • Regular Attendance as part of a 2-man crew
  • Must be willing to travel

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL with a Tanker endorsement
  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possess CPR and First Aid Training

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with confined space entry.
  • Knowledge of hydrovac operations, sewer line cleaning, or industrial services.
  • Construction or mining safety experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Work Environment
This position is performed primarily outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other environmental elements. Employees may be exposed to chemicals, industrial equipment, dust, and other workplace hazards.
The position requires the ability to:
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety gear.
  • Stand, walk, bend, twist, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, and sit for extended periods.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
  • Travel to job sites during the workweek, with occasional overnight travel depending on project requirements.
