Job description

Logistics Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a Logistics Analyst, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand sustainment planning, the acquisition lifecycle, and equipment management and know using proactive coordination at the program level is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We're looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools for our client. Using your knowledge in logistics management, you'll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.
On our team, you'll provide expertise on sustainment planning over the acquisition lifecycle. You'll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with complex integrated systems, and understanding of material specifications and government or contractor material, is essential to ensuring quality when designing critical solutions.
In this role, you'll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You'll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.

You Have:
  • Experience in the acquisition lifecycle and sustainment planning at the program level
  • Experience with multi-million-dollar DoD operations and equipment management
  • Experience shipping high volumes of equipment
  • Ability to proactively coordinate with clients and customers
  • Ability to operate with minimal oversight
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience working in a logistics management environment, or 12+ years of experience working in a logistics management environment in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
